i'm here. emerging from the lincoln tunnel and driving through manhattan is pretty special. the traffic doesn't move very fast, obviously, but there's the ever-present sense that i'm in one of the great capitals of the world. it's raining and i'm tired so i'm going to put my feet up, drink a cup of tea and have a nap. let's see what tomorrow brings.
